About Me.
Hello, I'm Katy, a teacher and coach with over 15 years of professional experience helping neurodivergent people of all ages navigate the complexities the classroom, workplaces, families and modern life.
At the heart of my work is a belief in realistic optimism: the idea that while challenges
can feel overwhelming, they can also be opportunities for growth with the right tools,
guidance, and self-acceptance. As a neuroaffirmative coach and specialist teacher, I
provide tailored support to adults, teens, children and families address the challenges of executive function, emotional regulation, and advocacy. Together, we’ll reframe
your experiences, demystify the science behind neurodivergent experiences, and create
practical strategies to help you thrive—on your terms.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with a range of children and their families, catering to a diverse array of additional needs. First, as a primary school class teacher, then as a specialist teacher, and now as a neuroaffirmative coach. This journey has reinforced my belief in the transformative power of personalised, one-on-one support. As a result, I decided to focus my efforts on offering private services to clients and their families, to generate meaningful and lasting impact.
A lifetime of lived neurodivergent experience has taught me to go easier on myself, a gift I'd love to share with you - I can listen to your frustrations with timekeeping, procrastination, impulsivity, organisation and emotional dysregulation without judgement as I have been (and still am) there myself.
